On July 22nd, at the Bow Rotary Club's regular weekly meeting, President Gale Kenison honored a very surprised David Gazaway with a Paul Harris Fellow Award.  David had been away on a family trip during the club's regular award evening so President Gale had to wait for his return.

Dave brought us the Car Show and has worked endlessly on this project to generate funds for the Club’s treasury. His love and bragging of his kids and family truly demonstrates the Four Way Test and he has supported this club behind the scenes for years.

Dave never does anything for the attention and yet he is the first one to point out and pay a happy dollar for everyone else’s good deeds. He is a quiet man in his actions behind the scenes and has often helped out club members with non-club related items at their times of need.

The Paul Harris Fellow Award is named for Paul Harris, who founded Rotary with three business associates in Chicago, IL in 1905. The Fellowship was established in his honor in 1957 to express appreciation for a contribution of $1,000 to the humanitarian and educational programs of the Rotary Foundation. Rotarians also designate a Paul Harris Fellow to recognize another person whose life demonstrates a shared purpose with the objectives and mission of the Rotary Foundation to build a would understanding and peace.
