- Bryant Stevener read a thank-you note from a student at BMS regarding the recent Wildcat Habitat project.
- There was a general “Congrats to the Red Sox” hooray
- Bill McGonagle was looking for help with taking some hazardous waste products to the upcoming town event, as he will not be here come November.
- Bryant Stevener announced that next week is Rotary Week. Look for a banner at the gazebo.

Birthdays: Tamar Roberts celebrated her birthday recently and updated the club on a good past year
Happy Bucks:
- Matt Dodge gave a happy buck for the Red Sox win.
- Rick Minard is off to Parent’s Weekend at his son’s college, and he recapped the recent ribbon cutting ceremony at which he spoke on behalf of the Rotary Club. Very nicely done!
- Alan Kanegsberg was happy that the cumbersome heater was gone. It has been replaced with wall units and should reduce the noise factor.
- Judy Goodnow had a wonderful trip to Paris and Normandy and mentioned the sacrifice that the men of that time were making
- Gerry Carrier added to the Red Sox joy felt by (almost) all in the room
- Jeff Kipperman had $30 happy bucks – as it was 30 years ago that he and his family moved into Bow – and he announced the next President of MCSB……our very own Linda Lorden! Congratulations Linda!
- Karen Wadsworth was happy for Linda
- Peter Imse – happy to be celebrating his 39th wedding anniversary
- Noreen Christensen was happy the Red Sox won (so as we will not have any competition come auction night) and was happy for Linda
- Steve DeStefano has been in the club 30 years
- Bill McGonagle will be in Bow one more week – and was happy to be celebrating his 32nd wedding anniversary
Raffle Winner: Peter Imse had the ticket, but not the joker
Program:
Today was Club Assembly, so only club business was conducted.
Paul Mercier announced the club had $32K in balance and the Foundation $23K. Bill McGonagle had no report (because – ya know – he’s only here for one more week…) Michelle Fortin made the announcement that our morning crew purchased a new coffee maker! Woohoo! Matt Dodge spoke about International service and handed things over to Chris Parkinson for further details. Chris reminded us that November is Rotary Foundation month, and that the Amigos trip is coming up in early February. Jeannie Richards spoke about New Generations and mentioned that EarlyAct and InterAct students would be helping at the upcoming auction. And lastly, Gerry Carrier updated everyone on club service: 66 bags of trash were collected along route 3A during the fall cleanup effort, 200 Christmas trees will be delivered to Bow on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. That’s earlier than previous years, and assistance will be needed to unload the trees. More details to follow.
