- President Bryant Stevener made the following announcements:
- Cindy Anderson is proposed as a new member.
- Claire Aurilio thanked the club for her scholarship via letter. She is a very active and busy nursing student.
- Rick Minard shared about the 4 Way Test Speech Contest held the previous night and thanked the Rotarians involved.

Birthdays:
- Dean Cascadden shared an up and down year with gratefulness for friends, family fun, and making a difference in the world one person at a time with the help of Rotary.
- Steve DeStefano shared about his family and their work and exploits. He has a new hip and is hoping to get back into baseball.
Happy Bucks:
- Judy Goodnow had six bucks for six happy days in Florida.
- Matt Gatzke got a new car when NH would not let him keep his old one.
- Michellle Fortin's son had successful shoulder surgery and is missing baseball, but rehabbing well.
- Chris Parkinson shared that the upcoming District Conference in 2021 will be in Meredith, NH.
- Paul Mercier’s new house is almost done and he had little money to be happy with.
- Rob Werner was happy for college playoff hockey.
- Tom Wilson had kidney stones and is happy to see them gone.
- Dick Bean won a seat on Pembroke’s Board of Selectman and finally started to use his real estate license with a sale.
- Dave Gazaway was in Florida to see his 86 year old father with his siblings. His dad out texted him so he was happy to be there in person.
Raffle Winner: Linda Lorden won, and had a one in nine chance of pulllng the joker, yet failed to do so. Bryant suggested buying extra tickets for future raffles.
Program:
George Waggoner, adjunct professor at Manchester Community College in Information Technology, and Emily Zeien presented on the Learn NH apprenticeship program. This grant funded program, part of the community college system, is designed to help reduce the workforce gaps in the state by helping students get a start in certain industries. They also recruit new employees into careers and support them in the classroom and in the work environment. Mentoring, job embedded training, related classroom instruction, gaining credentials and rewards for skill gains with a progressive wage scale are the components of the program. Employers and workers are reaping gains from the program. The program is focused on developing careers instead of doing jobs. Building long term relationships is part of the program as workers feel that they are growing in their work and employers are investing in them. This is one of the best kept secrets in the state, and they asked for help in spreading the work about the program.
Bryant Stevener closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary. After he attempted to read the picture book (which had no words) about Triangle and Square that was being donated to BES in honor of our speakers.
