On December 22nd, 25 members of our Bow Rotary Club volunteered to ring the Salvation Army Bell for their annual Kettle Drive at Market Basket on Storrs Street. The annual event started by member Bev Page has been taken over by David Gazaway since Bev's passing.
This year, our teams of bell ringers rang in a total of $1028 over a 9 hr period from 10AM to 7PM. We believe that this was the biggest collection we have had over the past 6 years. The weather was much kinder to us this year compared to last year.
Thank you to all who rang the bell, Bev would be very pleased.
