On Sunday, March 7, 2010, Sunrise Rotaract Club members planted a tree at exactly 4:00pm in the presence of  Rotarian Martha Pouchie from their host Club Sunrise Rotary at the Emilio Wilson Historical Park Located on the LB Scott Road. This officially kicked of the Rotaract Week 2010 that is being celebrated worldwide.

 

 

The idea was spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of NCU in an effort to combat the environmental malpractices of humanity, invited all Rotaract Club in the District 7020 to dedicate the start of World Rotaract Week 2010 to a tree planting project with a twist.  The project is dubbed 'Rotaract Green Day', and requires only that in recognition of Rotaract week and promoting environmental awareness al Rotaract Clubs of the dynamic District 7020 plant at least one tree at the same time, across all 10 country members.
