PHILIPSBURG--Three youngsters - two 12-year-old boys and a 10-year-old boy - were taken to the Police Station on Wednesday after a fight...
The youngest of the three was also in possession of a pocket knife.
Police Spokesman Inspector Johan "Janchi" Leonard told The Daily Herald that officers of the Juvenile Delinquent Department severely reprimanded the three youngsters. Their parents were called to the Police Station and informed of what had happened, after which they were told to take their children home.
It was the principal of the Ruby LaBega Elementary School who called the Police Department on Wednesday at about 11:30am for assistance. She informed the Police that she had three students sitting in her office who were in a fight at school. All three also frequently played truant. In addition, she said that one of the boys was found with a pocket knife.
According to Leonard, the knife was not used during the fight.
