- August: Membership and Partnership Month -
August month has been chosen as the "Membership and Partnership" month.
This means: it is about YOU, the members.
Already we had a very nice breakfast with our DG,Dr. Theodore Guy, August 16th, 2011. Our DG reminded us of our rights and obligations as members of an international organization, Rotary.
As members you may expect the following for the remainder of August:
1) August 23: Vocational/Classification talks on Tuesday, August 23, 2011: Speaker to be announced. The speaker being one of us. This member will give a small presentation regarding his/her profession. More info to follow.
2) August 23: Preparation for Sunrise Rotary Open House, discussion on classification, and more.
2) August 30: The Big "Sunrise Rotary Open House" Event. We will open our "doors", the club meeting to provide interested and interesting potential members the opportunity to meet us and learn about the club and Rotary International. More info to follow.
