Providing Tools for Teachers
As schools across the territory convened for the start of the new academic year on Monday, September 8, teachers of the Bregado Flax Educational Centre Secondary Division were pleasantly surprised when members of the Rotary Club of Road Town showed up to present them with back to school packages.
Each member of the teaching faculty was presented with a Teacher's Utility Kit containing such essential items as pens, whiteout, highlighters, dry erase markers and glues.
Speaking on behalf of the President Shan Mohammed, Rotarian Vincent Wheatley encouraged the teachers to keep up the excellent work they have been doing despite having to work in less than perfect conditions at times. Past President Trefor Grant was also on hand to assist with the presentations.
The Rotary Club of Road Town is fully committed to education in the BVI and was proud to support our teachers who take on the challenge of shaping young minds.
