This month is Spina Bifida Awareness month. In the BVI today, persons are painting the town yellow in support.
What is Spina Bifida you may ask? It’s a birth defect in which the spinal column doesn't close all the way during prenatal development.
We encourage persons to support the cause and those who are impacted by Spina Bifida! They may be “Born Different” but they are “Built Strong.”
