Rotary Celebrates World Interact Week November 1-7

Activities planned by the Interact Club of Road Town during World Interact Week include:
Monday, 31st Oct:
- Dictionary distribution at Enis Adams Primary School at 9:00 a.m.
- Reading to students at Esslyn Henley Learning Centre at 9:00 a.m.
Tuesday, 1st November:
- Interact Club to conduct Rotry Club of Road Town weekly meeting at 12:15 p.m.
Saturday, 5th November:
- Social on Virgin Gorda, possibly followed by film night, if they have any energy left; during the social, they will be honouring the three pageant contestants
Sunday, 6th November:
- Church service at the church above Happy Lion.
Sunday, 20th November:
Interact will be face painting and
assisting with the NPTs annual Flower show, and with other events the
NPT are holding
Also during the week it is hoped to do a membership drive at Cedar school
Interact have also partnered with the BVI Diabetes Association
as their unofficial youth arm to assist the BVIDA with promoting Diabetes
awareness in the schools. They are also sponsoring with the HLSCC and
the BVIDA for T-shirts sales for the Run for a cause on 12th November,
when it is hoped that all runners will be wearing a T-shirt.
