Youth Initiatives Launched

On Monday, the Rotary Club of Road Town officially launched two initiatives in celebration of New Generations Month at the St. Georges Secondary School.

(1) The Unsung Hero Award will be rewarded to selfless youth  between the ages of 12 -30 years who exemplifies Rotary’s Motto of “Service Above Self” in their school, youth organization or community.

There are 3 Categories: Ages 12-18, 19- 25, 25 – 30 years.

Nominated by the public, Unsung Heroes come from all walks of life and can be found anywhere in the British Virgin Islands going the extra mile to serve their community.

Nomination Deadline for Unsung Hero: December 5th 2014.

(2) The Four-Way Test Essay Competition which is open to all high school students (from grade 7 onwards)  in the British Virgin Islands.
