Today President Gwenyth Vanterpool alongside AG Ryan Geluk and PAG Lorna Smith presented the Disability Services with assessment kits and noise cancelling headphones. The Disability Services consists of 3 units:
- Autism which covers persons of any age with Autism
- Early Intervention which covers children ages 0-8 and
- BVI Services which is a day programme for adults with disabilities.
The assessment kit will serve children ages 0-8 in the early intervention programme and will focus on their cognitive skills and general early development skills such as motor, speech and social skills. It also helps to identify potential developmental delays or giftedness in a child.
