Congratulations to Ms. Angela Charles, the lucky holder of ticket #5017, who won $1,500 in the first early bird draw in this year's annual car raffle. The draw took place last Saturday, November 8 at OneMart. The next early bird draw for $1,500 is set for December 8 at Riteway, Pasea and the grand draw is set for December 24 at Delta Petroleum, Pasea. Who will win the 2015 Nissan XTrail?
Tickets can be purchased from Nagico Insurances, LIME, Mulligans, D' Best Cup next to Scotiabank or from any member of the Rotary Club of Road Town.
Here is what Angela had to say after winning.
"I was very shocked when I got the call on Saturday evening, that it did in fact took me a bit of time to actually believe I won. I plan on using a portion of my winnings to purchase more tickets because I would really hope to win the grand prize in December. Whilst obtaining the tickets for the raffle, I never felt that I was losing. Knowing that my small token will go a long way to help fund the various projects that the Rotary Club of Road Town does in our community, brings me joy. I’d like to encourage others to support the Rotarians as they continue to give back to our community."
