Ms. Joanne Penney of Hands On Volunteers was the guest speaker at our club meeting today (8th May) and shared a video clip and photos of the "Dental Health Across Boarders" project that was recently carried out in Haiti and jointly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Road Town, Hands on Volunteers for Haiti,The BVI Dental Association and Dr. Anne Marie Dabeisteen of Copenhagen University. Project Leader Rtn Annelene handed over the portable dental equipment that was transported to Haiti and utilized for this project to Dr. Nikki Rubaine Connell, who received it on behalf of the Health Services Authority for use at the Peebles Hospital.
