US & Caribbean Clubs Explore Project Partnerships

Seven members from the Rotary Family in the BVI attended the 2014 Caribbean Partnership Celebration (CPC) held at the Intercontinental Resort & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico from August 8th to 10th.
 
Under the CPC programme Clubs from the US and the Caribbean join in sharing ideas and resources to complete projects and initiatives in the Caribbean District region.
 
This year the Rotary Club of Road Town presented its Youth Change Initiative which is based on a partnership between Follow The Movement and The Hope Foundation to assist teens and young adults in five critical areas - crime minimization, drug prevention, at-risk sexual behavior, self esteem and behavioral attitudes.
 
 

The keynote address at the evening's gala dinner was delivered by Rotary International Director, Robert Hall.  PDG Vance Lewis is currently the Chair Person of CPC.
