Rotary BVI Cleans Up
The Rotary Club of Road Town joined members of the BVI Rotary Family and volunteers around the globe on Saturday 20 September, for International Coastal Cleanup Day, an annual call-to-action for people to help tidy up the coastlines.
On Tortola, the Rotary Family performed this service at Trellis Bay (Beef Island), collecting and logging several bags of trash which were then carted off to the nearest dump.
Across the pond on Virgin Gorda, President Kyle and the Rotaractors of VG descended on Handsome Bay and gleaned from its shores discarded and washed up remnants of modern living.
The Family of Rotary is proud to be a part of this movement which is making a positive contribution to the world's environment.
