Members' Orientation With Home Hospitality & Fun

The Club’s  first members' orientation in the new Rotary year was held on 23 August 2014.    The event was hosted by President Shan at his picturesque mountain side home at Sabbath Hill.  New and prospective members were provided with general information about Rotary International and particulars of our very own club - its history, goals, achievements, projects and plans.

After the formalities and information sharing came to an end, it was time for fellowship, food and well,… FUN!    DJ Push Pop (still in carnival mode) set the pace with calypso and soca tunes.  Thrown into that mix was a bit of hip hop line dancing and a conga line.  It was several hours before the crowd began to thin, as guests departed, and President Shan could once again lay claim to his home.

RCRT thanks all who attended and in particular the new and prospective members who came out to participate and learn more about the work that the Club does in the community.   And thank you to President Shan and Mrs Mohammed for their hospitality in an event that served as an excellent topping off for Membership Extension Month.
