Operation Braveheart III continues to facilitate the repair of indigent patients' heart defects.  This is my TWELFTH report for Operation Braveheart III. I am sending with this email a collage of the twelfth set of eight patients that Dr. Jonas repaired from December 2024 to May 2025. Six patients are children, 2 adults; 7 PDA's and 1 ASD. 
 
Operation Braveheart continues to accept donations so we can sustain this project even after Braveheart III funds get depleted. As of today, Operation Braveheart has facilitated the transcatheter repair of 251 patients.
 
 
Operation Braveheart III continues to facilitate the repair of indigent patients' heart defects.  This is my ELEVENTH report for Operation Braveheart III. I am sending with this email a collage of the eleventh set of eight patients that Dr. Jonas repaired from November to December 2024. All eight patients are children, 7 PDA's and 1 Coarctation of the aorta. 
 
All these seven years, Dr. Jonas has been CLOSING the holes of patients' hearts  by transcatheter approach. This time, since Coarctation is a narrowing of the caliber an important blood vessel. instead of closing a hole, Dr. Jonas stretched the narrowed aorta bigger by inserting a stent. Operation Braveheart paid for the stent.
 
I am also attaching a separate collage on CIELO a 3-year old girl with VSD who can not be repaired by catheter. She will need open heart surgery.

Operation Braveheart III continues to facilitate the repair of indigent patients' heart defects.  This is my TENTH report for Operation Braveheart III. I am sending with this email a collage of the eighth set of eight patients that Dr. Jonas repaired from July to November 2024. Five of the eight patients are children, three are adults. 5 PDA's, 1 ASD and 2 VSD's.
 
I am also attaching two sets of thank you letters from patients and parents that were handwritten during the most recent Camp Braveheart. I have personally met these two patients and parents.
 
Here is an important development I wish to share with all our donors- 
After more than a year of persistence and with the help of a retired trademark attorney, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Trademark Registration Certificate for "OPERATION BRAVEHEART“ with an accompanying serial number. We have successfully obtained legal trademark for the name "Operation Braveheart." We now legally own the name "Operation Braveheart."

I would like to share photos of our third CAMP BRAVEHEART held on August 31, 2024 at the Buenafe Hall in the UP College of Medicine. The event was organized by medical students representing my fraternity brothers from PHI Kappa Mu in partnership with sorority sisters from PHI Lambda Delta. I was not around this time so credit for this successful event goes to the medical students.
 
I hope the attached photos/collages will give you a flavor of the afternoon spent with our Braveheart children.
 
No money was spent from the Global grant. Funding was provided by Phi Kappa Mu International and Phi Lambda Delta International. Funds covered a catered meal, with drinks and dessert; Braveheart T-shirts, Tote bags and caps; a clown who entertained the children, snacks, goody bags and rental of the Buenafe hall.
 
We tried to contact as many children as possible. Around twenty patients, mostly children attended. Some patients and parents shared their PDA journey and how Operation Braveheart impacted their lives. All children were given an "Operation Braveheart" T-shirt and name badge to wear during the event. They went home with goodies in "Operation Braveheart" tote bags.
