In partnership with the Rotary Club of St. Andrew Negril Rotary donated and delivered four wheel chairs to worthy recipients.

Mr. Ramsey, resident of Providence Mtn. Road on the West End of Negril, worked in the sugar cane industry for over 40 years and found himself housebound at the age of 89.  With the help of a wheel chair donated by Rotary Mr. Ramsey can now enjoy his garden.

Eight year old Deneil Smith was born with cerebral palsy and has never walked. His mother, Sonia Robinson and his two sisters were delighted with the new wheelchair.  The family lives in Moreland Hill, Westmoreland.

Andre Lewis was severely injured in an accident 4 years ago that left him unable to walk.  He is the sole provider and caregiver of his 4 year old daughter and joyfully accepted the gift of an adult-size wheelchair from Rotary.

The President of Negril Chamber of Commerce accepted a wheelchair from Rotary at the Negril Installation beach party.  The chair will be used in the Chamber-donated new, but ill-equipped, ambulance in Negril.
