ROTARIAN CELERITIES VISIT NEGRIL

DG Paul Brown and his wife Kay graciously toured the Negril community
on 9 Sept with our Board members.  The projects showcased were Negril
All Age School computer project and literacy programme; Happy Hearts
ECI new lunchroom, sick bay, office and other improvements; Risen
Messiah ECI ceilings, water storage and playground; Gertie McKenzie
ECI new toilet/washroom building and lightning protection; and St
Anthony’s Soup Kitchen where our ongoing partnership with Fr Jim Bok
includes Get Kids to School, Get Registered and Christmas Meals and
Treats programmes.

DG Paul Brown conducted a “Health of a Club Checklist” meeting with
Board members over lunch at Sea Star Inn.  In the evening several RC
of Negril members joined DG Brown at a joint meeting, social and
dinner in Savanna-La-Mar with members of the Sav, Lucea and Black
River clubs.

Members of our Club appreciate the opportunity to “show and tell.”
