Positive Reception for Special Needs Workshop

The Rotary Club of Negril sponsored two workshops with local educators. Dr. Sally Bloch, a licensed clinical psychologist from Michigan volunteered to spend two days leading workshops with local principals and teachers to discuss special needs students. Dr. Bloch specializes in autism and learning disabilities and focused on providing the tools for early intervention, examining reasons for poor progress, relating assessments to intervention, and addressing other needs and interests of the educators.
