HUGE IMPROVEMENTS AT HAPPY HEARTS
New lunch room, office & sick bay and tiling of most of the school –
all managed by Rotarian Ken, in a Rotary International Global Grant
with Cary-McGregor Rotary Club in North Carolina. Community residents
are stopping by the school to comment on the progress. When this
school for children ages 3 to 6 had to be moved from their first
location over a year ago, it was met with resistance because it sits
prominently on a popular residential corner. With perseverance and
the help of Rotary, this little school will now be the bright spot at
the entrance to Whitehall community!

Often good work perpetuates more improvements and Headmistress Helen
Clarke has persuaded others for additional contributions – benches for
the lunch room and beautifying the entrance with pavement and pretty
foliage.

Look for photos in the near future of work being completed at Risen
Messiah and Gertie McKenzie Early Childhood Institutes. Ken is
overseeing the work which will include a building for additional
toilets, ceilings, additional water storage, lightning protection and
refrigerators!
