Updates:
- Need volunteer chaperons to take part for Rotaractor camp. Without chaperon, this camp won’t proceed.
- March 15 Rotaractors Trivia night 1-4 p.m. Black Pool Pub, Burlington. $20, or $25 at the door. Burlington & Oakville Rotaract Clubs to participate.
- March 5 Indigenous Committee meeting where we can all learn more about all the initiatives being discussed. Meeting will take place at Ralf Soeder’s office. Can attend personally or through Zoom.
- Report on Myers Briggs assessment facilitated to 9, 10 and 11 grade students (110) at Six Nations Ecole Polytechnique in Brantford. Initiative led by Larry Chester assisted by Mahendra Shah, Frank Morewood, Cathy Longo, Dana Dennaoui and Lama Jaafari.
- Presented members with steps to purchase tickets through rotaryclubofoakville.ca and explained importance of using this method to collect data to use for future events.
- Explained how to use Facebook and Instagram to share club’s events with the objective to increase public awareness and sell tickets for RCO’s Fifth Annual Speaker Series.
- April 22,2020 Business Excellence Awards Dinner. All interested to send Rod an email confirming attendance.
- Club Leadership Training: Saturday, April 4, 2020
- Leadership Institute: May 9, 2020
- District Conference: May 30, 2020. Rudy Habesh encouraged everyone to attend. Family and children welcome.
- Rotary International Event: To take place in June in Hawaii. Rudy Habesh attending.
Shared his meaningful experience travelling in India with the Canadian Charity Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW). Distributed 8000 bed kits around the country. Ralf brought banners from two of their clubs for us to have and is happy to present to our club more details about his trip.
Presented the 1Minute Talk on Rotary Membership Goals and how Rotary established its vision on initial session. 16 members involved. Vision by 2021 there would be at least 40 active and engaged members.

Mr. Blakely: it will be around $1.35 to $1.38
Dana: Please review last slide.
Mr. Blakely: Middle Class income will grow by 80%.
Mahendra: Which country/organization is good to invest in?
Mr. Blakely: Look for trends, trustworthy companies.
