- 22 Members and 2 Guests were present.
- Thus meeting's main agenda is CLASSIFICATION TALKS by 3 new members.
After Grace and O Canada, President Len Warrington
Suggested someone volunteer to bring the "Sunshine Report". Our long time member, Doug Lang had done it for many years faithfully and after Doug's passing, we haven't had anyone undertake this task yet.

Judy Warrington
Received her PAUL HARRIS AWARD (sixth time) in honour of her dedicated service in many community service roles, especially her organizing many trips to the Dominican Republic for Rotary International Charitable projects.
Rae Townsend
Received his second PAUL HARRIS AWARD in honour of his tireless efforts in organizing many Club projects over several years.
Judy Warrington
Announced the "Children's Fair" to be held at the Normandy Place on August 19th. Members Frank Morewood, Bob Dodds, Rudy Habesch, George Farrow and Len Warrington  volunteered to help out.
Ian Howcroft
Did the Happy Bucks and Fines.
Mike Marner
Was introduced by Ralf Soeder for his CLASSIFICATION TALK. Mike was sponsored by Manny Pereira. Mike had an illustrious 14 year career with Bank of Montreal as Branch Manager. After taking a break to earn  a University Business Degree, Mike became a Certified Financial Planner, continuing his career in the Credit Union Field. Mike is a resident of Oakville.
Nick Nanos
Was introduced by Frank Morewood for his CLASSIFICATION TALK. Nick was sponsored by George Vincent. Nick is a long time resident of Oakville. Rising to the position of Vice President at LCBO, Nick is in his 27th year with the organization. He joined the Club, as Mike tells us,  for three reasons: Community, Fellowship and Values. According to Nick, Rotary exemplifies all three.
Ian Howcroft
Was introduced by George Vincent, who had also sponsored Ian. Ian is a Lawyer by training and currently serves as a Vice President at Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association. Ian is a long time resident of Oakville. He has served in many capacities in many organizations, volunteering his time generously. Rotary's ideal of Community Service locally and at International level is what attracted Ian to become a member of the club.
Rod Craig
Did the 50/50. The six month draw was won by Mike Marner and this week's draw was won by Bob Dodds.
Len Warrington
closed the meeting at 8.20 pm with a toast to the Queen and Canada.
