Volunteer

Local Rotarians and their volunteers are at work in the community right now.

 

We use our knowledge of local issues and our connections with other social groups to identify areas of need and then act on them. Together we work to build a stronger community.

 

Community service projects focus on community development. We raise money to help the disadvantaged and others who help the disadvantaged in our community to acquire food, clothing, shelter and assistance. We facilitate help, if they are in difficulty.
 
Local Rotarians raise money for public health and education initiatives.  We work with schools, students and local youth.

 

Environmental Sustainability service projects focus on Coastcare and Landcare issues. These projects offer the opportunity for volunteers to combine their love for the outdoors and nature with meaningful activities such as removing the litter from our beautiful beaches, removing weeds from around our local waterways, revegetating their banks with natives, and eradicating invasive plants and animals.
