Celebrating Excellence and Community Spirit at Redcliffe State High School
Redcliffe State High School celebrated the academic achievements and outstanding contributions of its students at the Annual Academic Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, 21 October 2026. The ceremony was held at the school's Western Campus Hall, with light refreshments in The Bird’s Nest from 5:00 pm before the formal proceedings commence at 6:00 pm. Among the awards recognising student achievement and community spirit are two special honours supported by Rotary:
Rotary Best All Rounder Award — Amie Ito
Interact Community Service Award — Michael Robinson
These awards recognise the importance of looking beyond academic results to celebrate the qualities that help build strong, caring and connected communities. All-round achievement, service to others, leadership and a willingness to contribute are values that benefit not only individual students but the wider community.

Congratulations to Amie Ito and Michael Robinson on their well-deserved recognition. Their awards are a reminder that a strong community is built not only on achievement, but also on character, generosity and service to others.
Amie and Michael are Board Directors of the Redcliffe State High School Rotary Interact Club. Amie is the current Vice President and Michael is the current Secretary. They were recently elected President and Secretary respectively of the club in the school. They will take up their terms of office at the start of 2027. Academic Awards evenings provide an important opportunity for families, teachers, community organisations and supporters to come together and recognise the hard work, commitment and promise of young people.

Rotary Club of Redcliffe Sunrise President, Colin Scobie and Youth Services Director, Lyn Medcalf attended the Academic Awards Night on behalf of the club. Together with Interact Teacher Coordinator, Mark Grosert, they presented the Rotary Awards to the well-deserving recipients..
By supporting awards such as these, Rotary continues to highlight the value of service, personal achievement and community involvement, encouraging students to use their talents and enthusiasm to make a positive difference in the world around them.
The Redcliffe community joins in celebrating the achievements of these students and congratulating all those recognised at the 2026 Academic Awards Ceremony.
