Members Jenny Ludwigsen and John Goodman shared insights into their busy lives at last week's meeting.

Jenny was sponsored by Karl Olmsted.  She an a native of Ohio, having grown up in Toledo and later graduating from the University of Toledo with a B.A. in English.  From Ohio her career took her in 1998 to Washington, DC where she worked for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.  In 2000 she moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and since 2002 has resided in Grand Blanc.  Jenny has 2 children, Gunnar and Gus, 2 female dogs, Feebie and Lucy, and a husband who teaches physics at Kettering University. 

When not chasing after her 2 boys, 2 dogs, or husband, Jenny escapes during the day to her full time job as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Dort Federal Credit Union.  She is responsible for all the marketing and e-commerce for the credit union and has a very active community presence in the Genesee County community.

Our newest member, John Goodman, was sponsored by Stacy Merrill.   He is married, and has 2 children - son, Parker and daughter, Ashley.  John grew up in Burton, graduated from Atherton High School and upon graduation went to work for a truss manufacturer in Brighton.  Desiring to make a career change, John went back to school and studied for two years at Mott Community College, then transferred to The University of Michigan-Flint, where he obtained a B.S. in  Accounting and Finance.  He has passed the CPA exam, and currently is a tax preparer for Fiducial Business Centers, Inc., a national company with over 100 locations across the country.
