Sunrise Rotary Recognizes 14 Non-Profits

The Rotary Club of Greater Flint Sunrise has awarded grants totaling $4,500 to 14 non-profit organizations serving children in Genesee County.
Recipients gathered at the Mott Community College Regional Technology Center and include the Autism Support Research Center, Flint Institute of Music, Salvation Army, Kentakee Athletic and Social Club, Genesee Chamber Foundation, Crim Fitness Foundation, Flint Public Library, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Buckham Fine Arts Project, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint, Flint Cultural Center, IMA First Tee of Eastern Michigan, Christ Enrichment Center, and Tapology.
The funding covers various children's programming, much of which takes place during the summer months in 2014.
