Country music legend and philanthropist Dolly Parton spoke at the fourth plenary session on June 23 about the importance of early childhood reading. RI President-elect Ray Klinginsmith closed the Rotary international convention in Montreal by outlining plans for his term. Attendees at the closing plenary session were also treated to an original performance by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil.
