DG Doug Burnard Addresses Club

The Wednesday, September 17, 2014 Sunrise Rotary club meeting was a busy one!  DG Doug Burnard made his official visit and was our speaker.  Prior to DG Doug's presentation, he was given the honor of recognizing Bruce Bradley as the club's newest Paul Harris Fellow, and pinning Erin Lint with her new Rotary pin (after she was inducted by President Mike). 

 

DG Doug shared with the club Rotary International's goals for the 2014-2015 year:

 

1.  Show off Rotary to the community;

2.  Expand the Family of Rotary by growing membership by 3.5%

3.  Support the Rotary Foundation (and our continuing fight to eradicate polio);

4.  Celebrate our Rotary year (at our annual District conference May 21-23, 2015 in London, Ontario)
