2014 Scholarship Recipients

May 14, 2014 was a special day at Sunrise Rotary! Three scholarships were awarded to Genesee County graduating seniors. The recipients were - Kaylee Green, Bentley High School - awarded the Greater Flint Sunrise Rotary Scholarship; Whitney Berry, EA Johnson Memorial High School in Mt. Morris - awarded the Owen Fisher Memorial Scholarship, and Eriatta Bates, Mott Middle College High School - awarded the Gloria DeHart Memorial Scholarship. All 3 recipients received a $1000 scholarship.
Each will be attending area colleges, and have grade point averages above 3.5, while performing community service throughout their high school careers.
The Flint Sunrise Rotary has given more than $250,000 in scholarships and grant awards since 1992.
