Why I Became A Rotarian......Lorraine Baa
PE Lorraine Baa is the Development Director at Schneider Regional - She joined
Schneider Regional in 2001 and there she created and directs the fundraising
events where she took them from 0 dollars to over $4.5 million in sales. She is
proud of her telethons, fashion shows, raffles, naming opportunities, and yearly
signature black tie galas.
Why she became a Rotarian: In this complex world where we realize that we all
have one basic human need and that is friendship .It has afforded her cultural
awareness-around the world.....Rotary has introduced and exposed her to
every religion, country, culture, race, creed, political persuasion, language,
color and ethical identity- She realizes that Rotary is a cross section of the
world's most important citizens. "People who give of themselves".
It has afforded her Leadership Development and Personal Growth.
Lastly she became a Rotarian because it allows her to be a citizen of the world.
By wearing her pin, it says she belongs to a network of 1.2 million Rotarians
who take joy in doing things for humanity...there is just a few places in this
world who don't know about Rotary.
