INTERACT MIDDLE SCHOOL UPDATES

Last week, Interact Middle School students met at Antilles School's library.  Advisor Mike Harrigan had the students listen to the last R.E.A.C.H. program where Sebastien Grant and President Danielle Aguilar answered questions asked by Rotarian Erva, who hosted the show on December 2nd. The students were so proud of each other and the way they presented their club's projects to the listening community.

As an added treat, Advisor Mike Harrigan had President Danielle read a letter of thanks from one of the most recent beneficiaries of their fundraising efforts, Madame Ashley.  Madame Ashley, a french teacher at the school, had suffered broken bones in a leg that kept her from teaching for a semester.  The kids independently decided to assist Madame Ashley.  Madame Ashley has since vowed to gift someone else in the name of Interact as soon as she is able to do so.

According to President Danielle, current fundraising efforts may go towards Heifer International, an organization committed to purchasing herds of animals to be distributed to African villages.
