Even though this is the last week of membership month, we as Rotarians can continue throughout the year to work toward achieving President's Eric suggestion that Rotary II members bring 2 or 3  prospective members to a club meeting.  The following excerpt from the RI Website is inspiring and full of practical tips to send us on our quest for new members.  LET'S GO ROTARY II : Bigger, Better, Bolder!

M
embership is every Rotarian’s responsibility. As a Rotarian, one of your primary responsibilities is to help identify and propose new members.

“Each Rotarian: Reach One, Keep One”

"Each Rotarian: Reach One, Keep One," the membership slogan approved by the RI Board of Directors, is a reminder that every Rotarian is responsible for inviting new members and keeping clubs active and vibrant. It also stresses that retention is an essential component of a strong club and membership base.Consider the following approaches for finding new members

• Wear your Rotary pin to initiate conversations about your involvement with Rotary.
• Share stories of exciting club projects with colleagues, friends, and acquaintances.
• Distribute Rotary Basics (595-EN), This Is Rotary(001-EN), and What’s Rotary? (419-EN).
All three are available from shop.rotary.org, the RI Catalog, or your international office.
.• Invite friends, co-workers, and colleagues to join you at your weekly Rotary meeting.
• Ask potential members to become involved with a club activity or service project.
• Encourage prospective members to tour the RI Web site, view membership videos, and
complete a Prospective Member Form (www.rotary.org/membershipreferral).
