Why I Became A Rotarian..Cathy O'Garra

Some time in the late '80s, Rotarian Ron Sherwood, a good client, asked Cathy to design the logo for Kids and the Sea, (KATS), a project that started in our club. Although the group is no longer active in the VI, she believes it has remained part of Rotary projects down Island. A logo for Rotarians and the Sea (RATS), the mentor group, followed. Several years later, Katrina White Comissiong, club PP and also a client, asked her to design the club's logo, which is still in use on our banners and stationery. Although both Ron and Katrina invited Cathy to join the club, she always had too many other commitments. After Hurricane Marilyn, Jeffrey Davis invited her to join Rotary II and it seemed like the natural thing to do!
