Why I Became A Rotarian....Rosetta George

Rotarian Rosetta indicated that Bob Kirkpatrick is the reason for her being a Rotarian.  She was a young business owner, who was focused on the “bottom line” and Bob told her that there was another aspect of being a responsible person, and that was being involved in the community.

Her visits to Rotary II revealed that Rotarians were constantly giving, and she also experienced the love and camaraderie of the members.  She stated that the Rotarians were relaxed; however, they were serious.   Rosetta says that she has developed because of her involvement in Rotary, and she was even rewarded when she was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" a year after she became a Rotarian.
