Rotarian Sinclair felt that as a member of the community which has been good to him, he wanted to know that he made his contributions to the community-especially to the youths who are experiencing many challenges.

Sinclair  became a Rotarian for several reasons which are a result of his parents’ guidance and wise sayings.  His parents said to him:

·          “Woe be unto you if you tell a lie”; therefore he always tried to tell the truth. He noticed that in Rotary, that the first line of the 4-way test addresses the same issue.

·         “Do not prejudge people, and  respect everyone and if you respect everyone, you can make a fair judgment”…He noticed that the second line of the 4-way test attests to this.

·         “Say good morning, good afternoon, may I help you”..this equates to ‘Will it build goodwill and better friendships’

·         “Whatever you learn in this world, pass it on to others”.  He  became a teacher, and tries to pass on all  he knows especially to the youth. ‘Will it be beneficial to all concerned.’

AG Cheryl was Rotarian Sinclair’s sponsor.
