President Marilyn presented PP Cheryl George-Chance with a special pin for Paul Harris Society (PHS) members.  PP Horace Callwood and President Marilyn were also presented with PHS pins.

Arch Klumph, founder of Rotary Foundation, once said, "No one can tell us what Rotary will be tomorrow, but one thing is certain:  What Rotary will be tomorrow depends upon what we Rotarians do today".

Past President Cheryl George-Chance reflects on this quote often and understands that we live in a world where millions suffer from war, disease, poverty, poor medical resources, and inadequate education opportunities.  She also understands that if we are to save and change lives, we must continue to seek ways to bring the world closer to peace and understanding.  With this in mind, she made a commitment to the Foundation's endowment, a legacy that will provide an income stream to meet these urgent human needs well into the future.

PP Cheryl's generous gift of lasting value ($1,000) to The Foundation's Permanent Fund, now puts her among the ranks of Rotary InternationalFoundations Benefactors.

ADG Diana White announced at our last meeting that PP Cheryl was recognized at this year's District Conference as a committe chair because of her hard work and dedication.
