The October 14th meeting Rotary II was called to order by President Simon.  Rotarian Cathy gave the blessing, Rotarian Ethelbert led the pledge and Rotarian Bob led the 4 Way Test.

Rotary II welcomed:

visiting Rotarian Hurst Finkbener from the Rotary Club of Schwetzingen Walldorf in Germany.  We exchanged flags.

RAFFLE

PP Val was the Rafflemaster. PP Horace was  the winner of $77, and PP Erva won chance at joker card draw, however, the Elusive Joker still remains elusive.  "Better luck next time, and...there will be a next time.!

ANNOUNCEMENTS/EVENTS 

  •  VI/BVI Friendship Weekend October 31st; sign up via PP Mike ASAP
  •   Our club will be participating in a charity bowling event scheduled for Friday,       
  • October 16th, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) US Virgin Islands
  •  Paul  Harris/Rose Council event scheduled for Dec. 20th at 1pm. Tiickets are $75. per person.   PP Marilyn urged ALL to participate in some way .
