ROTARY TIDBITS

Posted by Ida White

Rotarian Sheri gave the blessing for the opening of the meeting. PE, Eric led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Rotarian Ricky stated the Four Way Test. Rotarians with guests included PP Fitz and his lovely wife, Iva; PP Erva and her sister, Bish Curtin; PP Archie with Jerry Reisberg, and Rotarian Ray with Lizette Gonzalez, and Victor Gutierrez.

Our visiting Rotarians were Ilka and Shirley from the Rotary Club Charlotte Amalie. We also welcomed Michael Stauffer from the Rotary Club of St. Augustine, Florida, and from California, visiting Rotarian Daphne Harley.

District Membership Chair Andre Hylton was our guest speaker, and his presentation on membership was exciting and quite thought provoking.

PP Erva was the Raffle Master, and PP Ash, including Horace and Company won the raffle of $106.00. PP Beris won the opportunity to pull for the elusive Joker, but...alas, the Joker remains elusive, and the word is "Better luck next time, and there will be a next time."
