Rotary Tidbits
Notes from our September 2nd meeting: Rotarian Toya offered a blessing; Rotarian Tonya led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Rotarian Cassie led the Four Way Test.
We welcomed visiting Rotarians Dr. Solomon Kabuka, and Mary Gleason, both from the Rotary Club of St. Thomas. We also welcomed guests of Rotarians, including; Louise Baa, Sam Browne, Bernard Attidore, Keisha Baynes and Jabriel and Omari Ballentine.
Raffle Master Rotarian Marie sold the winning ticket to President Simon and Secretary Charlotte, who split the $118 prize. Rotarian Edwin won a chance at the $519.00 card draw, and, alas he was not a winner. The Joker remains elusive. "Better luck next week."
Guest Sergeant-at-Arms PP Yvonne did a terrific job with her unique brand of fines.
Speakers for the day were Mr. Bruce Allen of Allen's Academy, and Mr. Wilfred Todman.
Each presentation provided wonderful inspiration for us as Rotarians and community members.
