ROTARY SYMPOSIUM HELD AT UVI

Rotarian Krim actively participated in the discussions

On Monday, October 13th, Columbus Day, members of the six Rotary Clubs of USVI North fought the bad flood weather conditions and gathered at the University of the Virgin Islands to participate in a symposium that focused on preserving the environment, combating homelessness and empowering our youth. The bad weather did not affect many as we had a surprisingly full house.

Mistress of Ceremonies for the event was our very own PP Erva Denham. Rotarian Ida White was a panelist on the Youth Support afternoon program. I noticed we had an excellent turnout of Rotarians from our club: PP Yvonne Thraen, Krim Ballentine, Cassie Mallory, Edwin Schouchana, Alicia Boatwright, Lorraine Baa, President Beris Lynch and yours truly.
