Inner Wheel USA President, Norma Trillia, was our guest speaker
Last week our meeting opened with prayer by Merle Kiture-Morgan, Ethelbert Bedminister led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and PP Archie Ogden recited the Four Way Test.
$95 raffle dollars were collected and PE Simon was the lucky winner of $42. Turo Watlington was unsuccessful in the joker card draw. Visiting Rotarian, Win Meek, won comlimentary lunch on President Beris. |

went out to Rotarian Ethelbert "Mr. B" Bedminister who took pictures of our students who will be participating in the Prevention of Child Mortality Essay Presentations this Saturday, March 28th at the Lockhart School.
Guest Speakers Corner:
Our guest speaker was Norma Trillia, President of Inner Wheel USA. She was accompanied by her husband of 54 years, George. She discussed the successes of Inner Wheel and was very proud of the ongoing commitment of our local Inner Wheel Club. She also urged our members to consider becoming members of Inner Wheel. Yes, you can be a Rotarian and an Inner Wheel member. Norma, George and Suzanne Robinson of our local Inner Wheel Club and current Vice President of Inner Wheel USA (soon to be President) joined me on REACH radio last Saturday. We talked about Inner Wheel and the Paul Harris/Rose Council Awards that were scheduled to be held later that day.

This Saturday, March 28th, Rotary II members are urged to attend the Child Mortality Essay Presentations. A lot of hard work and preparation has been put into this event. The kids will be so grateful for your support.
Career Day at the Addelita Cancryn Jr. High School is scheduled for Monday, April 6th. If you haven't signed up to participate it's not too late. Please see Rotarian Ray Barry.
The deadline for the 2009-10 Board to sign up for Board/Pre-PETS training is this Saturday, March 21st. Confirm your attendance by emailing PE Simon Caines at simon@vbs.vi.
