President's Lorraine September's Message

My Fellow Rotarians:

My Fellow Rotarians:

September is here and it is the month where we take the time out to embrace the meaning of New Generations Month.  Rotary’s commitment to getting youth and young adults actively involved in Rotary is a means to strengthen Rotary’s future.

It is a New Avenue of Service for all clubs throughout the Rotary family.  Here at Rotary II we are proud to say that our Interact Club at Antilles was our very first interaction with the New Generations Idea.  Since then we have added a community Rotaract Club as well as an Early Act Club at the Lockhart Elementary School .  Our New Generations Chair, Sinclair Wilkinson has been working diligently behind the scenes to create and instill positive change in our youth and young adults involved in these leadership development opportunities.  Our goal this month is to add a new Interact Club at our adopted school, Addelita Cancryn Junior High and possibly add another Early Act club.

With those goals in mind…This month is truly a chance to celebrate the new Avenue of Service as well as celebrate all of our young and vibrant participants!  They are in preparation of becoming Rotarians one day and I truly believe in my heart that they will not only help build our communities but will add to the stability of our country!

Sincerest Rotary regards,

Lorraine Baa

President
