Vocational Service Month is in Full Swing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service Projects Chair Jerry updated us on The Mentorship Program taking shape at Ivana Eudora Kean High School.  Rtn. Jerry will need mentors, so do your vocation and your club proud by volunteering your time, experience and knowledge for this new program.  Rtn. Alma is overseeing our Seniors who always are in request of our presence, as they enjoy our interaction.  Remember it is the simple acts of kindness that people appreciate the most, so put those words into action and show the kindness that we as Rotarians resonate and share with those less fortunate.

Thank You Rtn. Toya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  REACH RADIO HOST !!!!!!!!!!

In true Rotary II spirit when a host was needed for REACH last Saturday Rtn. Toya volunteered.  The show’s guest was Dr. Judith  Edwin who works with admissions at UVI.  It was very informative and hopefully we can have Dr. Edwin as a guest speaker at our weekly meeting.  Did you know that Seniors could take classes at UVI for free?  Thank you Toya, it is so good to have to back with us.

How wonderful that you are home and feeling better and back at Rotary.  Accompanied by wife MaryLu everyone was smiling.

I am so glad PP Ted was with us last week as well.  As Ted presented his birthday check PP Al led us in Happy Birthday song.  Unfortunately since then Ted has had a health set back.   Please keep PP Ted and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
