OCTOBER'S Board Meeting

MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THE 2ND TUESDAY
OF EACH MONTH
AT THE WICO CONFERENCE ROOM.
MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 11, 2006 AT 6PM
13 of the 17 members of the Board attended our meeting. In attandance were:
President Marilyn Blackhall
VP Beris Lynch
President Elect Erva Denham
Secretary Simon Caines
Treasurer Eric Baynes
Immediate PP Ash Newton
Alicia Boatwright, Bill Lambert, Richard Lee , Cassie Mallory, Patricial McCoy, Ed Thomas, Yvonne Thraen
Meeting was opened with a prayer and the joint recitation of the 4-Way Test.
Items discussed:
--Committee Reports
--District Governor's Visit. Our hosting of Club Assembly on Nov. 9 and Dinner Board Mtg
--District Governor's Report: Preparation of 58 page document
--Membership issues regarding members who have not yet paid dues.
--Helping club members become more proactive in recruiting business people and professionals from classifications that are not represented in the club.
--Public Relations Grant application to RI filed for our REACH Radio Program.
--Miscellaneous old business
All club members are invited to attend Board Meetings. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 14 at 6PM---WICO Conference Room.
