Now That is the Teamwork

• While Rtn. Jerry was away Rtn. Ida took over the coordination of the soup kitchen. Ida previously spoke to PP Mac about cooking this Saturday but then Ida couldn't confirm because she had just flow in DC and was preparing for the onslaught on Hurricane Irene. Rtn. Micele contacted her concerning her well being and Ida got Michele to confirm/remind PP Mac and to inform Rtn Jerry who came back from China that his area was covered. PP Mac and a college friend from the states perform an excellent job at the soup kitchen.
• VP Merle availed herself to te possibility of producing the Tattler when I again had another health episode that may have taken me away from  my duties. Merle stood in the wings from Thursday awaiting word on my medical condition. I was able to treat with new drugs. Hats off to VP Merle for jumping to the taskl especially  after coming from South Africa.
• PE Cassi perform Sec. duties last week and Pres. Lorraine and myself worked on getting the data in the computer.

NOW WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL? Is it not natural for rotarians to help other rotarians ? The big deal is that we got to appreciate our rotary family while helping them and having fun doing it.

WE REACHED WITHIN TO EMBRACE HUMANITY !

PS. The people mentioned in this article proably going to be angry with me because they didn't want credit...any rotarians with peace making skills.....
