Middle School Interact Visit

Interact Advisor and Middle School Principal, Mike Harrigan, accompanied the students to lunch with us last week.

Danielle Aguilar, this year's student President, talked about upcoming activities to include their successful snack sales.  The proceeds of the sales will benefit Heifer International who assists African villages buy donating livestock to them.  On April 11th, a Jog-A-Thon, their main fundraiser of the year, will be held to benefit programs like Nana Baby Home, Bethlehem House and the C. K. Cancer Center.  Last year this event grossed approximately $5,000.

The students are also looking forward to participating in RYLA this year.  This youth leadership conference promises to be a very beneficial and worthwhile experience as it will include teambuilding activities, talent shows, and guest speakers from our community.

It's exciting to see the kids so geared up!
