Speaker: was Nagesh Tammara who spoke on behalf of Make A Wish Foundation of the VI. A major fundraiser of the Foundation is a 5K Walk/Run.  At the end of the presentation, Rotarian Vince challenged each Rotarian to donate $20. The collection of $245 with an additional $100 to be collected was given to the speaker.
Visiting Rotarians:Rina Roebuck, PP Rotary East, Shirley Monsanto, PP Charlotte Amalie, Joseph M. Charles, Jr., Lake City, Florida. Dr. Charles received a bottle of "liquid sunshine" since he traveled the farthest to attend our meeting.
Rotarians with guests: Glen; visiting family members Lisa, Alaci and Amal Smith; PP Al , Hugh Hunte, PP Marilyn, son Greg Blackhall.
The Secretary announced that dues were past due and the members were reminded that DG Vance will address the Club on August 22. Rotarians are reminded that August is Membership and Extension month; therefore, they should invite potential members to the club meetings. Additionally, members are reminded to take pictures of their activities for the month so that there will be a visual record of same.
