Rotary II was entertained by the inimitable Eddie Bruce.  My Bruce was kind enough to lend his talent from noon until the meeting began, and later when we sang ‘happy birthday’ for Past President Mac (the only July birthday celebrant who was present).  We

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Members were reminded to pay dues and submit make-ups.

Members were asked to mark August 22, 2012, on their calendars since that is the day when District Governor Vance will address the Club.  A special board meeting will also be held on that day.

Past President Ash asked for volunteers for the upcoming Jazz in the Park fellowship/fundraiser which will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.  Past Assistant District Governor Cheryl, as employee of International Capital and Management,  personally invited the Club to the function.  Assistant District Governor Mike encouraged the membership to look at the opening ceremonies of the Olympics as there will be a media promo featuring Rotarians Kirk and Jerry among others.
